Client Success Manager

Job summary:

This job is a daily client-facing role to help assist our clients in the operation of their business needs and serves as the client liaison for the company. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate via email and phone with clients and internal team members to resolve any questions or issues quickly and courteously. They will strive to form relationships with the client to provide a high level of service and trust.   They will work closely with the rest of the client success team and the company to ensure orders are quoted, executed and billed correctly and on time. Strong Microsoft Office skills and problem-solving skills are a must.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Serve as the main point of contact for daily client management
  2. Work with clients and production to ensure print orders and other client order specs are correct
  3. Answer client questions via phone and email
  4. Work closely with the rest of the client success team
  5. Other duties as required by supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Support Technician

Type of position:

Full-time

Job summary:

As a Support Technician, you are required to provide support to end-users by identifying, researching and resolving technical issues.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. You will be required to provide a high level of technical support for all VPDCS employees, in addition to any other affiliated and authorized end users, vendors and business associates, with the aim of supporting the continued growth and profitability of the organization.
  2. You will be required to provide Help Desk Support including opening, assigning, escalating, closing, following-up and tracking user initiated work order requests.
  3. You will analyze and understand objectives of user requests including, functions to be implemented, desired features, and input and output requirements.
  4. You will be required to document details on all tasks, including user requests, resolutions provided, transaction dates, programming logic and any algorithms used to perform complex calculations.
  5. You will be required to maintain a neat and professional appearance and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
  6. You will be required to support other IT staff, as needed, in the completion of their respective duties.
  7. After hours work is frequently necessary to attend to system maintenance to avoid interrupting business operations. After hours response will be necessary to attend to system failures as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:

Intermediate Skills:  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

High Skills:  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Purchasing Manager - Full Time

Job summary:

This position is critical to the success of our profitability by managing all outside purchases, material costs, vendor relationships and inventory levels

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Manage all vendor relationships, including annual reviews
  2. Manage many different categories of inventories: paper, office supplies, toner, plates, pre-press, pressroom & bindery supplies
  3. Create and purchase necessary items (paper, outside services – managing project timelines and status updates) on a daily basis
  4. Process print tickets and provide daily support with job quoting
  5. Provide key metrics regarding purchasing and inventory on a monthly basis
  6. On a quarterly basis, assist in a physical inventory on all paper in stock
  7. Work closely with the shop to efficiently set up jobs and troubleshoot issues

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Microsoft Excel and Word proficient
  • Print, paper and finishing knowledge required

Abilities Required:

  1. Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
  2. Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule in order to meet deadlines.
  3. Knowledge and experience to efficiently train, learn and execute daily tasks using accounting software, EPMS print software, Microsoft Excel and Word.
  4. Must be able to problem solve and execute the nearly impossible through managing rush jobs, with paper availability, vendors (old and source new) and tight timelines.
  5. Must be a team player.
